Laborer – Apprentice Installer:
As a laborer for Stockbridge Seamless Gutters, you will travel with us all over New Hampshire working on different projects providing support to our installers while learning the trade.
Our specialty is extreme attention to detail and 100% customer satisfaction. The business thrives on word of mouth advertising, so customers are our main concern.
Basic job duties of a laborer vary. They may include, but are not limited to:
– Cleaning and preparing a job site
– Loading the trailer with material each day
– Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.
– Cutting and painting blocks
– Assisting Installers as needed
– Training to become an installer
Laborers must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information, schedule adaptability, and learning retention are essential. Laborers are often required to work outside in all kinds of weather or in buildings without heating or air conditioning. Some tasks are dangerous such as working on ladders if individuals do not take safety and self-assurance into consideration.
Additional Information:
Our work is weather dependent. In the event of heavy rain, winds, thunderstorms, etc. the workday may be cancelled. Generally, the work week is Monday through Friday, with Friday being a weather makeup day. The workday begins at 7:30am with our end time varying upon the completion of that day’s job.
Pay is scaled based on experience. Opportunity for overtime.
